This class for  parents/ caregivers and their infants through 4-year-olds will help:
  • Create healthy bonds with your child
  • Cultivate language and creativity skills
  • Support your child's cognitive, motor and social-emotional development

The video at left was taken during one of our quarterly "Walkabout" events, and was a large, mixed-age demo. Our regular classes are smaller, divided by age and the activities vary to be age-appropriate. This video gives you a great sense of Mama Cat's joyful teaching style and music selections.

Class Description:
This class is full of movement activities that build bonds between parent and child, support heathly brain development, and create self-confidence in your little one. Mama Cat leads joyful creative dance classes for a child's first four years, when development is at a critical stage. Each age group has specialty exercises and activities that meet their specific developmental needs.
Babies will get tummy time exercises, ball exploration, swinging, rocking, and dancing time with parents. The walking and older children will have more independent movement exercises, while still maintaining meaningful parent interaction throughout. All of the classes utilize nursery rhymes, uplifting music, and sensory-rich props. You will learn about your child's development first-hand and celebrate community with other parents and children through dance.
